Zadania wielokrotnego wyboru

Man:

What about these ones, madam?

Woman:

I think they’re too small. I’m looking for something comfortable to use for a long time.

Man:

How about these? You’ll feel good even walking or dancing in them. Would you like to put them on?

Woman:

Yes, please. Will you turn the music up? Oh, they’re nice. And no cable! Great! But I don’t like the colour.

Man:

Don’t you like pink?

Woman:

Actually, they’re for my boyfriend.

Man:

I see. Black then. I’m sure he’ll like these headphones. You can keep them on for hours and the music sounds great.

Woman:

OK. I’ll take them.

Woman: Can I have your attention, please? You’ve already learnt about King Henry VIII and you’ve seen the map of his palace earlier today. Now we’re going to see the exhibition I told you about. Remember, do not touch any of the items. After we get off, keep close to your teachers and the guide. The area is crowded and you may get lost. We’re now passing the King’s monument. We’ll meet here after leaving the museum and drive to Cambridge. Don’t leave your seats until we’ve stopped in our parking space.

Woman: Hello, I hear you’re talking about the most embarrassing things you did in high school. I remember I liked the most popular guy in the school. So, as he was walking past me in the school canteen, I pretended to fall and, at the same time, shouted out the words “Will you go out with me?”. He continued walking and said “no”, completely ignoring me. Everybody laughed at me. But another guy saw all that. He came up to me and helped me get up. He’s really great. Well, it’s sometimes worth making a fool of yourself!

The spaceship is now ready and the space agency is working on training projects for astronauts who will try to reach Mars in the 2030s. NASA’s budget has risen to $18 billion this year. Man:

No...

Woman:

On Saturday she was putting her groceries into her car in the store car park. Suddenly, a man appeared and said that he needed the car. He was wearing a mask on his face, so she got scared and gave him the keys.

Man:

Did he have a gun?

Woman:

Nothing like that! Janet says he was really very kind! He took the keys and drove away. The car was found three hours later with everything Janet had left there and a paper note saying Sorry!

Man:

Unbelievable!
