Słowa te chyba najlepiej obrazują postawę większości naszych uczniów w dniach, kiedy gościliśmy w murach naszej szkoły studentki z Azerbejdżanu i Turcji. Najpierw wielkie obawy „ Czy my się dogadamy ?”, „ Czy zrozumiemy to, co panie będą mówiły, przecież jesteśmy dopiero na początku drogi do nienagannego posługiwania się językiem angielskim”. Obawy jednak okazały się bezpodstawne, a próby nawiązania kontaktu zakończyły się sukcesem. Owocem zaś podjętych prób
i dowodem potwierdzającym skuteczność posługiwania się językiem angielskim przez naszych uczniów są dwa wywiady, które powstały po wspólnie spędzonych godzinach z Esrą i Nilufer
w klasach pierwszej AC i trzeciej A naszego gimnazjum.

N: - I like reading and I really like all books I’ve read so far.

N: - It is no possible to say who, because I like many actors who act in films I’ve watched so far.

S: - Who is your favourite author/ writer?

N: - I like all classical writers.

S: - What is your hobby?

N: - I like drawing, painting and watching movies.

S: - What animals do you like?

N: - I like dogs.

S: - Do you have ones at home?

N: - No, I haven’t.

S: - What is your favourite sport?

N: - I’m not interested in sport.

S: - Do you like football?

N: - No, I don’t.

S: - Do you like skiing?

N: - I don’t go skiing.

S: - Do you like swimming?

N: - No, I don’t like swimming. I am not a good swimmer.

S: - Do you practice any sports?

N: - No, I don’t have any time to practice sports.

S: - Do you like riding a bike?

N: - Yes, I do. I think it’s the activity I like the best.

S: - What is your favourite food?

N: - I like many dishes, especially the ones made by my mum.

S: - What are traditional dishes in your country?

N: - Pilaw, bozabash, gutab and dolma.

S: - Have you tried any Polish food?

N: - Yes, I have and carrot cake has been the best for me so far.

S: - Do you like dancing?

N: - Yes, I do.

S: - What kind of dance are you interested in?

N: - I like modern dances and tango.

S: - Who is the most popular singer in Azerbaijan?

N: - Eldar and Niger.

S: - What is the most popular shop in your country?

N: - I think every shopping malls are very popular. ( like in yours)

S: - What is the most website in your country?

N: - I think Facebook, Tweeter, You Tube and Instagram.

S: - Are you on Facebook?

N: - Yes, I am.

S: - Can you speak other foreign languages?

N: - Yes, I can speak Russian ( my mum was a Russian teacher).

S: - Do you like Polish language?

N: - Yes, I do.

S: - Have you visited any other countries?

N: Yes, I’ve been to Moldavia and Georgia.

E: - I come from Turkey.

S: - Where do you study?

E: - At Bursa university.

S: - What do you study?

E: - I study public management.

S: - How old were you when you started studying?

E : - I was 18 years old.

S: - How long do people study at universities in your country?

E: - Four years.

S: - How long have you studied so far.

E : - I’ve studied three years and now it is my last year at the university.

S: - What was your favourite subject at school?

E: - Psychology.

S: - Have you got any siblings?

E: - Yes, I have two brothers and one sister.

S: - What are their names?

E: - My sister’s name is Esma, my first brother’s name is Ali and the second one’s name is Yahya.

S: - What is your hobby?

E: - My hobby is dancing and my favourite one is salsa.

S : - Could you show us some steps of the dance, please.

E : - Of course ( She is showing).

S: - How old were you when you started dancing salsa?

E: - I was twenty years old.

S: - Do you have any other hobbies?

E: - I like listening to music and riding a bike. I like playing computer games, too.

S: - What kind of music do you listen to?

E: - Rock and Blues.

S: - What is your favourite music band or singer?

E: - Led Zepelin and Kashmir.

S: - Do you like reading books?

E: - Yes, I do.

S: - What kind of books is your favourite?

E: - I like reading romantic novels.

S: - What is your favourite film?

E: - It is “ Two men and a dreamer”.

S: - What type of movies do you like?

E: - I like romance stories and biographies.

S: - Can you play any musical instruments?

E: - No, I can’t.

S: - But we’ve heard that you can play “ Wlazł kotek na płotek” on the piano. Is that true?

E: - Oh, yes. I’ve tried to learn it.

S: - Do you watch any talent shows?

E: - Yes, I like watching “Modal’s dance”.

S: - Do you like any sports?

E: - Yes, I like volleyball and basketball.

S: - What is your favourite food?

E: - I like traditional Turkish dishes like lahacum.

S: - Have you tried any Polish food?

E: - Yes, I have and carrot cake was very good. I like Polish soups, too. My favourite is chicken soup.

S: - Have you got any pets?

E: - No, I haven’t.

S: - What are the most popular means of transport in your country?

E: - I think metro and buses.

S: - What do you think about Polish public transport? Is it good?

E: - Yes, I think it is, but I only ones had opportunity to use it.

S: - Do you have a driving licence?

E: - No, I don’t.

S: - Who do you want to be in the future?

E: - I want to work for government and dance.

S: - How do you feel in Poland?

E: - Good. Everything is different there. People, food, culture and it is really interesting for me.

S: - When are you going to come back to your country.

E: - On the 30th of October.

S: - If you could stay a little bit longer in Poland would you do that?

E: - No, I think no because I long for my family.

S: - Will you come back to Poland if you have the opportunity to do this?

E: - Yes, I want to come back to Poland in the future.

Należy jednak pogratulować wszystkim uczniom, którzy nawet w młodszych klasach naszej szkoły przełamywali barierę oporów związanych z niedostatecznym poziomem opanowania języka i nawiązywali rozmowę starając się czynnie uczestniczyć w zajęciach.
