Course description


Lecture:

Analogy electric - mechanic – acoustics.

Electric-mechanics transducers and electric-acoustics transducers: principles of work of the transducers, divisions of the transducers, examples.

Microphones: principles of work, kinds and division.

Loud-speakers: principles of work, kinds and division, open and closed loud-speakers, tube loud-speakers.

Headphones: kinds and division, electromagnetic and piezoelectric headphones.

Electroacoustic devices: classification according to lines and application.

Sound transmitting devices.

Sound receiving devices.

Special devices.




Classes:


Laboratory:

1. Directional characteristic of speaker

2. Shaping of directional characteristic of microphones

3.Dubbing of previously prepared sound tasks

4. Mixer table – mixer console


Project:





Objectives of the course

Student should obtain general knowledge about basic problems from acoustic and electro-acoustic area, general parameters of acoustic devices as well as conversion of digital and analog signals.


Examination method

The written test including knowledge form lectures and laboratory.
