Professor Wróblewski studied at the Frederic Chopin Music Academy in Warsaw: piano – at Professor Doctor Teresa Manasterska’s class (at the Piano Department headed by Professor Regina Smendzianka); piano chamber music at Professor Jerzy Marchwiński’s class and symphony – opera conducting at Professor Stanisław Wisłocki’s class. (diploma with distinction).He studied on a scholarship at Accademia Chigiana in Siena (he was a student of: Yuri Temirkanov, Myung-Whun Chung, Trio di Trieste) and the Gioacchino Rossini Academy in Pesaro (as a student of Alberto Zedda). Professor Wróblewski carries on an active pedagogical work : at the Frederic Chopin University in Warsaw (the class of conducting at the Department of : Choir Conducting, Musical Education, Church Music, Rhythm and Dance). In 2011 he was qualified as assistant-professor (His assistant-professorship thesis: “Instrumental Concerts by Romuald Twardowski. The Conductor’s Work on the Score”) and also at The Frederic Chopin Unit of State Schools of Music in Warsaw as a qualified teacher. Sławek Adam Wróblewski is an expert of the Ministry of National Education for the matters of professional promotion of teachers of artistic schools. He is invited as a member of juries evaluating the performances of young conductors. Since January 2012 he has been a visiting conductor of the Henryk Wieniawski Philharmonic Hall in Lublin. He co-operates with The Great Theatre – National Opera House in Warsaw (the world premiere of a children’s opera Mr Marimba by Marta Ptaszyńska, The Bourgeois Gentleman by Jean-Baptiste Lully, Mandrake by Karol Szymanowski, Madama Butterfly by Giacomo Puccini, La dolce vita by Nino Rota – Krzesimir Dębski, Semiramis byGioachino Rossini. ), with the Warsaw Chamber Opera House (the first Polish performance of Il mondo della luna by Joseph Haydn, Le nozze di Figaro by W.A. Mozart, Der Rosenkavalier by Richard Strauss), with the Cracow Opera House (Mr Marimba by Marta Ptaszyńska – the premiere at the opening of the new building of the Opera House, Il barbiere di Sivigliaby Gioachino Rossini). His output includes many radio, TV and archival recordings, for example for the Polish Radio, with the Polish Radio National Symphony Orchestra, Professor Wróblewski recorded, among other compostions, IX Symphony Di Speranza by Andrzej Panufnik, I Symphony by Zygmunt Noskowski, The Cello Concerto by Jan Maklakiewicz (the soloist – Tomasz Strahl), Concerto lugubre by Tadeusz Baird (the soloist - Ryszard Groblewski), the Flute Concerto by Mikołaj Górecki (the soloist – Jadwiga Kotnowska); (as a pianis, Sławek Adam Wróblewski recorded Concerto quasi una fantasia byJan Maklakiewicz, with The Polish Radio National Symphony Orchestra ); for the Radio Suisse International (The Piano QuintetbyKonstanty Regamey – the first recording in the history of phonography); for RAI 3 (The “Trout” Quintet bySchuberta and Piano Trios by Mozart); for the Vatican Radio – The Piano Trio byAndrzej Panufnik and Dumkas by Antonín Dvořák. Professor Wróblewski carries on active concert work in his native country (in most philhamonic halls and opera houses) and abroad (Austria, Belgium, Egypt, France, Spain, Japan, Germany, Switzerland, Taiwan, Tunisia, Great Britain, Italy). He has taken part in many festivals: The Festival of Contemporary Music “Warsaw Autumn”, “The Lutosławski Forum” in the National Philharmonic Hall, the W. Lutosławski Lublin Forum of Contemporary Music, The Silesian Days of Contemporary Music in Katowice, The Mozart Festival in Warsaw, The Ada Sari Festival of Vocal Art in Nowy Sącz, Music in the Old Cracow and Wratislavia Cantans (where he assisted Jerzy Semkow in the performance of II Symphony by Gustav Mahler), the Festival of First Performances – the Newest Polish Music organized by The Polish Radio National Symphony Orchestra, Concerti per l’Europa in Palazzo Labia in Venice (the live concert broadcast all over the world by the RAI 3 TV station), the Pro Mundo Uno festival –the concert in Castel Gandolfo for the Pope John Paul II. Professor Wróblewski is the founder of the chamber music group The New Warsaw Trio, and, together with the Trio, he is the laureate of the following competitionons: in Łódź (1989 — the special prize for “particularly interesting interpretation”) in Mulhouse-Ilzach (1992) and in Osaka (1993). His output comprises many first performances of Polish music (the works by Romuald Twardowski, Marta Ptaszyńska, Marian Borkowski, Edward Sielicki, Piotra Moss, Marek Sewen, Jerzy Derfel, Paweł Łukaszewski, Mikołaj Górecki). In the Poznań Philharmonic Hall Professor Wróblewski conducted the concert of the Percussion Orchestra consisting of over 70 performers, and at the Frederic Chopin Music University – the Per Pianoforte concert on 10 pianos by 20 pianistst and 40 hands. In October2003, Professor Wróblewski got the Individual Award of the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Poland for his “outstanding achievements in artistic and didactic and educational work” . In June 2005, he conducted the concert during “The Festival of First Performances - the Newest Polish Music “ with the National Symphony Orchestra of the Polish Radio in Katowice. (among others, the first performance of “ The Flute Concerto” by Mikołaj Górecki, with Jadwiga Kotnowska)At the beginning of the academic year 2012/ 2013, Assistant Professor Sławek A. THE HEAD OF THE DEPARTMENT OF SOLO SINGING AND ACCORDION MUSIC OF THE STATE MUSIC SCHOOL OF THE I AND II LEVEL IN SUWAŁKI
GUIDEBOOK: The VIII All- Polish Orchestra Course in Suwałki, under the leadership of an outstanding conductor, Professor Sławek Adam Wróblewski, is organized in answer to a great interest of young adepts of playing instruments; it is also a perfect preparation for their future professional activities connected with constant development in course of their careers. Participating in the Course is also a great chance of: developing young people’s skills during group playing; it enlarges their repertoir due to getting to know great musical compositions.
The programme of the course includes, among others, instrumental and vocal – instrumental compositions , from the baroque to the works of contemporary composers. The leading motif of the VIIIth edition of the Course is the output of the great Polish composer, Romuald Twardowski. The function of Leader of the Strings of the Orchestra will be carried out by an outstanding violinist, virtuoso, leader of the strings of the Warsaw Orchestra Sinfonia Viva – Cezary Gójski. It is also expected to have a joint preparation of the artistic vocal – instrumental project: “Le nozze di Figaro” by W.A. Mozart, with the participation of the selected members of the X All – Polish Vocal Course in Suwałki, lead by an outstanding vocalist and pedagogue, Professor Bogdan Makal, the director of the project being a great film and theatre actor, Marek Cichucki.

From 2013 – 08 – 16 to 2013 – 08 – 19 there is a possibility of some addtional section rehearsals lead by Inspector of the Orchestra.
The Course is organized for advanced students of music schools, students and graduates of higher schools of music, private students and pedagogues. There is a possibility of taking part in the Course as an observer – participant.
The travel and accomodations expenses are to be covered by the participants or schools, higher schools or institutions designating them as participants. The fee for the classes during the Course is as follows:
- PLN 400 ....... for active participants (which does not cover accomodations)
- PLN 200 ....... forobserver – participants (which does not cover accomodations)
The classes will be carried out every day, in two sessions, within the period os 16th – 25th August, 2013. The hours:

Using practice class-rooms at the SMS (The I and II Level State Music School) during the Course classes is free.
For the participants of the VIII Orchestra Course, there are also to be organized:
free classes during the Baroque Seminar under the leadership of Professor Lilianna Stawarz(harpsichord), in the period of 13th – 14th August 2013;
concerts together with the Suwałki Chamber Orchestra Camerata dell’Arte conducted by Kazimierz Dąbrowski;
the participation of the active Course members selected during the classes in two Festive Concerts within the III International Music Festival ARS MUSICA in Suwałki .
