T he Three Kings’ Parade in Warsaw
The procession took off from the Castle Square and continued towards Pilsudski Square where a Bethlehem’s cowshed was set.
Three kings Caspar, Melchior and Balthazar riding on camels were leading the procession. They symbolize three continents: Europe, Asia and Africa.

Champion cross-country skier Justyna Kowalczyk has been voted Sports Personality of the Year in a plebiscite held by the Przegląd Sportowy newspaper. This is the second time running that the skier has collected the most votes from the public in the paper’s annual plebiscite.
Justyna Kowalczyk is the best cross-country skier in the history of Polish winter sports, as well as being the only Polish female athlete to have won an Olympic gold in the discipline.

Adam Małysz was born on 3rd December 1977 in Wisła. Wisła is a small town in the south of Poland. He got married to Iza when he was 20 and soon after his daughter was born. He was keen on ski jumping from his childhood. The first time he took part in the World Championships was in 1994/95, and in 96/97 he landed on the 7th place.
Adam Małysz began his career on the turning point of years 2000 and 2001. In a great style he beat Martin Schmidt, who was a ski jump champion at that time. Later, he won 12 competitions, for example in Harrahov, Sapporo or Lahti.
Małysz has already finished his career but still he is known as one of the best ski jumpers in the world.
